Industry Standard Welding Procedure Software |
|
| WeldOffice® WPS - Welding Procedure Specifications module | |
| Welding
Procedure Specification (WPS) creation and management is simple, fast and accurate with automatic code checking and
links to code related software modules. |
|
| Unmatched Superior Welding Procedure Code Compliance | |
|
Only C-spec's WeldsOffice®
offers code compliance and code rules verification supported by active code committee
members. Your welding procedure will be instantly recognized
as a code
compliant industry standard. |
|
| Standard Welding Procedure Software Features | |
|
|
| Checks the code for you... consistently ... accurately | |
| WeldOffice®
code checking makes sure your WPS and
PQR complies with ASME IX, AWS D1.1, or EN 288. Additionally, by supplying information straight out of the code, WeldOffice®
keeps you from having to search through the code for requirements, interpret the code and
risk making a mistake. |
|
| Generates Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) automatically | |
| WeldOffice®
uses a
code-intelligent weld test data collection sheet (PQRD) to provide you with directions
and to allow you to record the exact parameters used, pass by pass, during the procedure
qualification test. WeldOffice®
can then write the
procedure qualification record (PQR) for you, and can
also generate a welding procedure directly from one PQR or from multiple
PQRs by combining processes. The use of the PQRD is entirely optional, however this invaluable tool will keep track of the entire
qualification history, including material traceability. |
|
| Minimizes Typing | |
| WeldOffice®
reduces the amount of typing
to an absolute minimum. You select data from a list instead of having to
retype the same information. You can customize most drop down menus up
front or on-the-fly while filling out the forms. You can store and
reuse any custom notes without retyping with a single click. |
|
| Universal Forms | |
| WeldOffice®
satisfies the needs of organizations working with multiple
codes and standards. In the real world, piping and other pressure retaining components are supported by structures that have different design requirements as well as
different qualification requirements. With the universal WeldOffice®
forms, there is no need to keep separate formats for ASME, AWS or EN
documents. |
|
| Dynamic Forms Layout ... | |
|
The universal WeldOffice®
WPS and PQR contains all
ASME Section IX, AWS D1.1 as well as EN288 variables and test requirements.
Based on the code selection folowed by process selection, only the applicable items are displayed dynamically on the
screen and printed on the forms. |
|
| Up to 3 Welding Processes per Welding Procedure Specification | |
| WeldOffice®
automatically creates GTAW welding procedures, SMAW welding procedures,
GMAW welding procedures, FCAW welding procedures, PAW welding
procedures, SAW welding procedures, EGW welding procedures, ESW welding
procedures, OSW welding procedures, FLSP welding procedures and PSP
welding procedures, and welding procedures which combine welding
processes, up to three (3) per WPS document. |
|
| Welding Procedure Weld Types | |
| Groove/Fillet
welding procedures, stud welding procedures, corrosion resistant overlay
(CRO) welding procedures, hardfacing overlay (HFO) welding procedures. . |
|
| Filler metals and Base metals | |
The fully searchable databases for filler metals and
base metals have over 4,000 code classified materials. With the powerful searching,
sorting, and filter functions designed in our databases, finding the information you need
is fast and easy even if you have only minimal information about the materials you are
using. Once the welding electrode, welding rod, welding wire or base metal is found,
WeldOffice®
will
put all of the information straight onto the forms such as:
|
|
| Pipe Schedules | |
|
Nominal pipe size, pipe schedule, diameters and wall thickness
are automatically selected from the applicable tables with a single mouse click. |
|
| Joint Details | |
| WeldOffice®
has a database of
standard pre-drawn joint sketches for you to select and edit to your requirements rather
than draw your own. Alternatively, you can draw or import your own pictures and add them
to the database for later use. For all of your drawing and editing needs, WeldOffice®
will integrate any OLE-compliant graphics/drawing program of your choice so that
you won't have to learn how to use a different program. |
|
| Direct Turbo-IX and Turbo-INT™ Access | |
| WeldOffice®
allows you to access the actual ASME Section IX code
requirements, interpretations, base metal and weld filler metal tables and all other Turbo-IX
and Turbo-INT Module D features in one click of the
mouse button. Turbo-IX and/or Turbo-INT Module
D must be installed in the system for these features to be active. |
|
| Why would I want Turbo-IX? | |
| Because you need to justify why you did what you or
what WeldOffice®
did. Turbo-IX identifies and
displays the actual code requirements and provides code justifications. WeldOffice®
only applies the rules, and it does so transparently to the user. The two programs
complement each other and provide you with unprecedented and unmatchable computing power. |
|
| Flexibility | |
| WeldOffice®
has been designed to
meet a wide variety of needs. Most users will find WeldOffice®
has more
built-in features and functionality than they can possibly need. However, if you require
additional power, features and functionality, the system is flexible enough to allow for
customization to suit your exact needs. The system can be customized to include your own
document layouts, links to other databases, 'intelligent' data generation routines,
etc
