Customizing WPS module
Log-in
When starting the program for the first time, Log-in as SYS (system administrator), leave the password box blank (empty) and press the Enter key. This will allow you to customize all default settings and set up all authorized users.
Splash Screen
Depending on your processor speed the program will take a few moments to load. While the program is loading, the Splash Screen will provide you with useful information. Please make sure you are running a registered Standard full edition, otherwise you are in demo mode and will need to register in order to take the full advantage of the program's features. If for any reason the program fails to load and/or stops, please contact technical support and report the Build number and percent completion displayed in the upper right corner of the splash screen.
Tools/Options
Before you take the program for a spin, customize your default settings by clicking on Tools/Options
Directories
Tell WeldOffice® WPS where (in which folder or directory) you wish to store your data, custom menus and program configuration. If you and other users on the network plan to share the data, all users must configure their WeldOffice® WPS module to point to the same Data Directory. If you are a single user and/or run the program on a single stand-alone machine, we recommend you keep the default settings provided for all directories.

Access Rights
If you log-in as SYStem Administrator, you can set-up other users and authorize their access and signature rights to each individual document. However, only the authorized users logged-in individually under their own log-in name can set their individual passwords and save their bitmap signatures in encrypted file. For security reasons, it is strongly recommended that all bitmap signatures be deleted from the system after being saved in the WeldOffice® WPS module encrypted file. WeldOffice® WPS will display and print encrypted signatures only in properly authorized signature boxes of displayed and printed forms. For security reasons, WeldOffice® WPS will not insert encrypted signatures on any exported forms intended for distribution via email and/or internet.
